TAKING A BREAK FROM WORKSHOPS
I am doing some training - Healing the whole person, yoga for cancer teacher training.
This is something I have wanted to do since exploring how mindfulness and yoga helped to support my own journey in 2023 with breast cancer and its treatments.
This requires a lot of my time to complete and so I am taking a break from my workshops until April 2025.
Hatha and Restorative yoga morning - Pulford Village Hall - Sunday 30th March 2025 10.30-12.30
Spend Sunday morning enjoying some hatha yoga as an introduction, and then a deep dive into one hour of nourishing restorative yoga.
Time for an uplifting tea and snack as we celebrate the Spring Equinox energy - growth and rebirth with equal day and night. The warmer weather will continue to grow from this point to the summer solstice.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness brings us into the present moment.
This is where we can pay attention, on purpose
to our experiences with a curious mind.
The benefits are more awareness in our lives,
moving away from ‘auto-pilot’ and into a calmer,
more peaceful way of being.
Meditation is just one of the tools, as is breathing,
that supports this process.

Mini retreats are the first taster for you to experience truly dropping into a space just for you. Allow your nervous system to self regulate, feel relaxed and calm as the stress of every day life melts away.
Day retreats, the next step up is to spend a whole day immersing yourself in a beautiful environment in nature. Nourishing yourself with healthful food lovingly prepared to nurture your soul. Spending some time outdoors taking in all that nature has to offer us.
Some time with simple mindful crafts and of course some yoga - slow flow, yin, restorative.

Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a practice of conscious relaxation, using props in every posture to support your muscles in gentle and comfortable positions.
The focus is on opening and relaxing and not strength or flexibility. Promoting states of peaceful contemplation, abundance and well-being.
We are giving our nervous system the opportunity to come away from ‘fight or flight’ and relax into ‘rest and digest’.
